King Kong

When I worked for WAGA TV 5 in Atlanta in the early 70's, The news crews from all the stations tucked away their bloopers from interviews and other productions for the big gala at the end of the year. Since they shot on film (no video cameras were available then for news), they called themselves "Gorillas" because of all the cameras, film cans, sound gear and lights they lugged around. The Gala was called "The Gorilla Ball" and each station brought their own Blooper Reel to present. The Mayor, Govenor and other important people would come because it was fun and to see if they were on any of the reels. One year they ask me to do the poster. This what I came up with. The only difference from the original is that it is in color and it said "Gorilla Ball" instead of King Kong. The title is ..."Cut". I hope you enjoy it
